Morecambe vs Gillingham (Saturday 23 March, 3pm)

Despite having an unwanted goal difference of minus eight after suffering three consecutive heavy defeats, Morecambe remain just three points away from the League Two play-off spots with a game in hand.

Next, Ged Brannan's men face a tough test in the form of Gillingham, who have a more favourable points tally than the Shrimps by two.

With both battling for a chance at promotion, this could be a fierce encounter.

Prediction: Morecambe 1-1 Gillingham

Barrow vs Newport County (Saturday 23 March, 3pm)

Barrow are sitting pretty in League Two, four points ahead of AFC Wimbledon who are occupying the final play-off place below them, having also played two fewer matches.

The Bluebirds are unbeaten in the last four, but their next fixture against Newport County won’t be easy. The Exiles want what Barrow have in the shape of a play-off opportunity, and have positioned themselves to be in with a chance on 55 points – only six behind Barrow.

Pete Wild’s team will likely find it difficult but won’t want their momentum to halt at this stage of the campaign.

Prediction: Barrow 2-1 Newport County

Stockport County vs MK Dons (Saturday 23 March, 5:15pm)

A pair of League Two’s big-hitters go head-to-head this weekend and the occasion has the potential to be the biggest across the EFL. This one perhaps supersedes the play-off push, with both sides vying for automatic promotion instead. It’s second versus fourth, with only one point between them.

Dave Challinor’s Stockport have recently lost ground in the title race and consequently surrendered the status as table-toppers to Mansfield Town.

However, the Hatters are still hard to beat, but Mike Williamson’s Dons will be looking to repeat their recent impressive 2-1 victory against Mansfield – this time though, at the formidable Edgeley Park.

Prediction: Stockport County 2-2 MK Dons

Dagenham & Redbridge vs Oldham Athletic (Saturday 23 March, 3pm)

The National League play-off picture becomes more thrilling with each passing week and Oldham are looking to stake their claim at that end of the table.

They’re just one point behind seventh-placed Gateshead but now travel to Dagenham & Redbridge, who despite all-but finding themselves out of the race to the fifth tier’s promised land, are certainly capable of an upset.

The Latics will seek to use inspiration from their 2-2 draw against league-leaders Chesterfield last time out to extract a result from the Chigwell Construction Stadium.

Prediction: Dagenham & Redbridge 1-2 Oldham Athletic

Altrincham vs Gateshead (Saturday 23 March, 3pm)

This affair is lining up to be one of the games of the season in the National League, with both desperate to cling on to their play-off rankings.

The Robins and the Tynesiders have played out very similar terms, as Altrincham best Gateshead by one point, but Gateshead best Altrincham by one goal, having conceded the same amount.

Phil Parkinson’s side have been victorious in three of their previous four – including a 6-1 demolition of York City – and will have the slight advantage with the game being hosted at the J. Davidson Stadium. Although, Gateshead do have one of the league’s best away records.

There may also be a side story to keep an eye on, as two of the division’s top scorers, Altrincham’s Chris Conn-Clarke and Gateshead’s Marcus Dinanga, will be attempting to earn three points for their respective clubs, while adding to their stellar goal tallies.

Prediction: Altrincham 2-2 Gateshead
