Manchester Thunder are set to take-on Surrey Storm
at the Belle Vue arena in the fifth round of the Netball
Super League.

The Black and Yellows currently sit at the top of the division on 12 points, having won all four of their opening games.

Thunder also have the league’s best goal difference with an impressive 82. Their opponents Storm have collected six points so far after splitting their first four games and are just outside the play-off spots.

Both sides have a rich history in the Netball Super League, with six titles between them. Thunder’s most recent triumph came in 2022, while Storm’s was in 2016, where they made it back-to-back having been victorious the year before.

Thunder will be hoping their top scorers Elmere van der Berg and Paige Reed combine on the offensive end, while league-leading interceptor Josie Huckle helps get them over the line from a defensive viewpoint.

However, Cara McCartney will be looking for Proscovia Peace to add to her goal tally and hand her team all three points.
